Wedding and couple photography in Malaysia

Your wedding has its own programme and customs, and you want coverage that follows them instead of a package that assumes a standard day.

Short answer

Weddings and couple occasions rarely follow one pattern, so we plan around your actual programme: which ceremonies, where, and with which relatives. Choose by occasion below, then decide how much of the day to cover. A ceremony only, a separate reception or a full day are all valid choices, depending on what matters to you.

Start with the programme, not a package

A couple with a morning akad nikah and an evening hotel reception needs a different plan from a couple holding a church ceremony and a lunch. Our wedding coverage choices guide walks through how to decide on hours, preparations, portraits and reception coverage.

Decisions that shape coverage

Three questions do most of the work. Which moments must be recorded? Which relatives must appear in family photographs, and when are they present? Are there places where photography is restricted or needs permission?

The priority photograph list builder and group photograph planner turn those answers into a list your photographer can follow.

Respecting customs without assuming them

We do not assume a sequence from a family's name or language. If you tell us a rite happens at a particular time, or that a relative should be photographed first, that goes into the plan. If a ceremony needs the officiant's approval, confirm it before the day.

What a quotation states

After we read your brief, we confirm the date, venue, crew, coverage window and deliverables in writing. Rates and terms appear in that quotation, and our pricing and scope page explains what changes it. You can compare coverage options calmly before booking.

Send us your programme as it stands, even with times still to be fixed, and we will suggest a coverage window and ask about anything that affects planning.

Common questions

Do we need a full-day booking?

Not necessarily. Some couples book the ceremony only, others two separate sessions for a morning rite and evening reception. List the moments you would regret missing, then choose the shortest window that includes them.

Can you photograph our tradition's ceremony?

Tell us the ceremony, the venue and any rules about photography or positioning. Customs vary between families and communities, so we follow your programme and the guidance of the officiant or venue, not assumptions.

Do you photograph engagements and proposals?

Yes, these are covered as couple occasions. A proposal needs planning around timing and discretion, so tell us the location and how much needs to stay secret.

Can we share the programme before confirming?

Yes, and we suggest it. A programme with times, venues and key relatives lets us propose coverage and flag clashes or gaps before you decide.

How are ceremonies at religious venues handled?

We ask the host to confirm the venue's photography rules with the officiant or authority, then plan positions around them. Where rules are strict, we adjust coverage rather than assume.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
