Message us with the type of event, the date you have in mind, the venue or area and what matters most. Date and venue can be uncertain. We read your message, ask for anything missing and reply with a proposed plan and a written quotation.
What should I send first?
Start with five things: the type of event, the date, the venue or area, the times and the moments that matter most. The checklist on this page lists them. Add anything else that helps, such as a programme or a link to the venue.
You do not need technical words. "A 40th birthday dinner for family at a restaurant in Ipoh" is a good enquiry. If you are unsure how to describe the job, starting a photography enquiry when you do not know the terminology gives plain ways to say it.
What if I do not know the date or venue yet?
Say so. Many events are still being planned when people first ask about photography. Give us the options, and tell us which one is more likely.
Open points are useful to know early. A venue that restricts photography, or a date that falls on a busy weekend, changes what we propose. If you want to check one particular date and place, use check a photography date and location.
What happens after I message?
We read your message, then reply with questions about anything unclear. Next we propose the coverage we think suits your event and put it into a written quotation. Nothing is confirmed until the date, venue, crew, deliverables and terms are agreed in writing.
The full order of steps is in how photography booking works. What a quotation should contain is covered in what an event-photography quotation should include.
Can I send a brief instead of a message?
Yes. If you prefer to prepare first, the event photography brief builder turns your answers into a short brief you can paste into your message. If you are not sure what kind of photography you need, the photography needs selector can help you decide.
Is this the right page for my situation?
This page is for new enquiries. A company asking for a proposal for procurement should read corporate photography proposals. If you have already booked with us, existing booking support is the right route, so your message reaches the right place.
Pricing depends on your brief and is stated in your quotation. Photography pricing and scope explains what shapes it.

Send your event detailsCommon questions
Can I enquire if I have not chosen a venue or date?
Yes. Tell us the options you are considering, for example two possible dates or three venues. We can plan around the open points and tell you which decisions affect coverage most.
Do I need a full programme to enquire?
No. A rough outline is enough to begin: when guests arrive, the main moments and when it ends. The final programme is needed closer to the event, and we update the plan when it changes.
Does sending an enquiry book my date?
No. An enquiry starts the conversation. A date is held only when the booking is confirmed in writing. Our page on how booking works shows the steps.
What happens to the details I send?
We use them to reply to you and prepare your quotation. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and how you can ask us about it.
Send your event details

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
