You decide how your photos are used. Before the event, tell us whether they stay private, may be used in our portfolio, or have limits such as people who must not be photographed or published. We record your choices in writing and brief the crew and editors before the event.
What choices do you have?
You can make three separate decisions. Each one can be recorded in your booking.
- How your photos are delivered. Privately to you, in a gallery with a link, or by another method.
- Whether we may show them. In our portfolio, on our website, or on social media, or not at all.
- Limits on photographing or publishing people. For guests, children or anyone who needs privacy.
Permission to photograph and permission to publish are different. A guest may agree to be photographed at the event and still not want the photo shared.
Private delivery
Private delivery is the default choice we suggest when you are unsure. Your photos go to you through the agreed method. Ask who can access the gallery and for how long. If you plan to share it, read private gallery access and onward sharing, because a link passed on in a group chat can reach more people than you intend.
The photo sharing and privacy plan helps you decide who receives what.
Portfolio use
We ask before showing your photos. If you agree, say which photos, where they can appear and for how long. You can say no at any stage before publication. Our guide on agreeing whether photographs may appear in a portfolio explains the options.
Guests and children
Some people must not be photographed or must not appear in published images. Tell us before the event, with names or descriptions that help the crew recognise them. Do not post such details publicly.
For children, an authorised adult makes the decision. Read children's event photographs: questions authorised adults must resolve before you decide. The personal photo preference note lets a guest state their own wishes.
How do we pass your choices on?
We write your choices into your booking confirmation. We brief the photographers and editors on them before the event. If your choices change, tell us and we update the record. Ask how we mark the photos so editors know which are restricted. Our guide on keeping records of agreed image-use restrictions shows what to keep.
What if a photo is published against your wishes?
Tell us at once, with the details. We act on it and tell you what we have done. See photographs published against recorded preferences for what to ask for. Our privacy notice and corrections process are on separate pages, and event photography privacy, permission and image use explains the wider picture.
Tell us who should not be photographed, which photos must stay private, and whether you are happy for us to show any work as an example. We will record it in your booking.
Set your photo privacy choicesCommon questions
Can my photos stay completely private?
Yes, you can ask for this. Tell us before the event and we record it in your booking. We do not publish your photos unless you agree.
Can I allow some photos in your portfolio?
You can. Say which photos, or which kinds, and where they may be shown. A permission can be limited and can be set out in writing.
What about children at the event?
An authorised adult should decide. Tell us if any child must not be photographed or published, and share the instruction before the event. Do not rely on a verbal reminder on the day.
A guest does not want to be photographed. What should I do?
Tell us before the event if you know. On the day, a guest can tell the photographer directly, and we respect it. Clear signs and a short announcement help.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
