Tell us as soon as you know, by message, with your name, the event date and what has changed. We reply in writing with how the change affects your booking. The terms that apply to a cancellation or date change are stated in your quotation and booking confirmation, and we explain them if you ask.
How do I tell you about a change?
Message us with four details: your name, the original event date, what has changed and the new date if you have one. If the event is very close, say so at the start. We reply in writing and, where needed, ask for the approver's name.
If you booked on behalf of someone else, tell us who has authority to decide. That avoids the booking being changed twice by two people.
What kind of change is it?
| Change | What happens |
|---|---|
| New date, same event | We check the new date and reply in writing |
| New venue | We review access, travel and timing, and confirm in writing |
| Smaller or longer event | We revise the scope and confirm in writing |
| Cancellation | We explain what the quotation states and confirm in writing |
Rescheduling an event-photography booking lists what to ask when a date moves. Changing the venue after booking the photographer covers what shifts when the place changes.
What terms apply?
The terms for cancellation and for changes are stated in your quotation and booking confirmation. We do not publish a fixed schedule on this page, since they are written for each booking. Our booking terms page explains where to find them.
Photography cancellations and refund questions sets out the points worth clarifying before you confirm, so that a later change comes as no surprise.
What if the event is cancelled by the venue or by circumstances?
Tell us what has happened and what you know about the new plan. We discuss options in writing. Keep any notice from the venue, since it can help when we review the booking together.
Recording what is agreed
Whichever route you take, ask for the outcome in writing and keep it with your quotation. The photography scope change log can hold the history of requests and decisions. If you have a question about a booking already confirmed, existing booking support is the quickest route, and the brief handover tracker helps when several colleagues share the booking.

Tell us about our date changeCommon questions
How soon should I tell you?
As soon as you know. An early message gives us more room to find a new date or adjust the plan, and keeps your options open.
Can I move the date instead of cancelling?
Often a new date is the first thing to discuss. Tell us the dates you are considering, and we check them and reply in writing.
What if the new date is not yet decided?
Tell us the situation. We note it and explain how the booking stands while you decide. Our guide on rescheduling lists what to ask.
Where are the cancellation terms?
In your written quotation and booking confirmation. If something is unclear, ask us before an event is affected, and we will explain it in writing.
Tell us about our date change
Send your name, event date and the change you are considering. We will reply in writing.
What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
