What our photography coverage includes

You want to be sure what you are getting, and what would count as an extra, before the day.

Short answer

Your coverage is whatever your written quotation lists: the dates and hours, the crew, the moments planned, the edited photos and how they are delivered. Extras are confirmed for your date and added in writing. If it is not written down, it is not yet part of the scope.

What is coverage?

Coverage is the time and attention we give to your event. It is set by the hours, the number of photographers, the moments planned and the locations. A longer window is not always better. The right coverage is the shortest window that contains the moments you must have.

Our coverage hours planner helps you test a window against your programme.

What do deliverables mean?

Deliverables are what you receive afterwards. They usually include the edited photographs, the format and size, and the way they reach you, such as an online gallery. Each of these is stated in your quotation.

Agree how the count is described. A fixed number of photos and "all usable photos from the coverage" are different promises. See agreeing which photograph counts belong in a delivery promise for how to read them.

Which extras should you ask about?

Optional outputs are not assumed. Ask whether each can be included for your date and how it would be quoted.

  • A second photographer for two rooms or two moments at once.
  • Portrait sessions inside the event.
  • Faster delivery of selected photos.
  • Albums or prints.
  • Photos sized for banners, social media or reports.
  • Other formats, such as video.

Our guide to choosing photography formats and optional event outputs explains the trade-offs. For business events, the corporate deliverables planner lists what organisers usually need.

How is the scope recorded?

The scope is recorded in your quotation and booking confirmation. We write the date, venue, coverage window, crew, deliverables, delivery arrangement and any limits. When you ask for a change, we revise the document, not just the conversation. That gives both sides one record to check against.

What is outside the scope?

Anything not written is outside it. Examples include moments outside the booked window, a second venue not mentioned, photos for a use not agreed, and unedited files. Ask whether unedited files are offered at all, since this is a decision for each booking. Our guide on edited photographs, retouching and RAW files explains what the options mean.

Pricing is explained on our pricing and scope page. The path from enquiry to delivery is on how booking works.

Tell us what you expect to receive, and we will write it into the scope so nothing is left to assumption.

Common questions

Is there a standard package?

We build coverage from your brief, so the scope is the one in your quotation. Ask us to explain each line. If you want a simpler structure, tell us your priorities and we will propose one.

How many edited photos will I receive?

The number depends on the event and what is agreed. Fixed counts and coverage-based delivery work differently, and the quotation states which applies. Our guide on delivery promises explains the difference.

Can I add video, a second photographer or prints?

Ask us. We do not assume any of these are included, and we confirm in writing whether each can be offered for your date.

What if the event runs longer than booked?

Overtime is handled as the quotation states. Tell us your concern about a late finish during preparation, so we agree how extra time would work before the day.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
