How do outstation assignments work?
We accept enquiries for events across Malaysia. We do not hold a fixed list of covered towns, so each job is checked on its own. Before the booking is confirmed, we confirm the date, venue, travel, crew and deliverables in writing.
Outstation planning adds three things to a normal brief: travel time, access to the venue, and any overnight stay. Our guide to photography coverage and outstation planning in Malaysia explains these from the client's side.
What do we need from you?
Send the exact venue name and address, not just the town. A resort, a hall and a function room in the same town can have different access rules. See confirming the exact event venue before requesting a quote for why this matters.
Also send the programme times, the first moment you need covered, and any transport the host arranges.
Which costs are involved?
Travel is one of the quotation drivers. The costs vary by trip, so we do not give a fixed figure on this page. Your quotation lists what is included.

What about venue access?
Some venues control supplier entry, such as resorts or heritage sites. Ask the venue about passes, permit needs, load-in times and photography rules, and tell us the answers. We will not state a venue's rules for you. Use the venue photography checklist to gather the details, and the venue-access recheck tracker if they change.
What if plans change?

Do you cover events in every state?

Who pays for travel and accommodation?
Your quotation states which travel items are included and which are not. Do not assume. Ask us to list each cost and who is responsible, so you can compare it with other offers.
Will the photographer be based near my venue?
We do not assume a locally based crew. We confirm the crew assigned and how they will travel when we confirm your booking.
What should I check at the venue?
Ask the venue about supplier access, parking, load-in times and any photography rules. Share the answers with us before travel is booked.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
