Short answer

Send one brief that lists every date and location, the outputs you want from each and who approves. We reply in writing with a proposed plan for the whole series. Terms for a series are written into your quotation. We do not assume any standing arrangement unless it is confirmed in writing.

What counts as a recurring enquiry?

It could be a monthly company town hall, a school's term-by-term events, a conference held in three cities or a series of weekend workshops. What they share is that you want a pattern: the same kinds of photographs, delivered the same way, without starting again each time.

Photography for a recurring event series explains how to think about this before you write the brief.

Why one coordinated brief helps

Writing separate briefs for each event means repeating yourself and risking small differences. A single brief names what stays constant, such as outputs, naming of files and delivery format, and lists what varies, such as the venue and programme.

The multi-event photography commission organiser is built for this. It keeps every event in one place so you can send us the whole picture.

What do we need to know?

For each event, we need the date, venue, rough programme and attendance. For the series, we need to know which outputs you require every time and who signs off. If events are in different towns, tell us, since travel arrangements are confirmed for each location in writing. Our outstation photography arrangements explains how.

How are terms handled across several events?

We do not state a discount, retainer or series rate on this page, because any arrangement is agreed in writing for your actual brief. If you want one agreement across several events, booking photography across several related events under one agreement lists what to settle. For a standing arrangement over a longer period, read agreements for a recurring photography retainer first, so you know which questions to ask us.

Keeping delivery on schedule

Recurring work needs a rhythm: when files arrive, who approves and when the next batch is due. The delivery and approval calendar helps you plan these dates across the series. If the work is for a company, corporate photography proposals explains what a written proposal covers.

Common questions

Do you offer a retainer or a series rate?

Ask us. Any arrangement for a series is stated in your written quotation, and we do not assume one in advance. Send the number of events and the pattern, and we reply with what we propose.

Will the same photographer attend each event?

We confirm the crew for each booking in writing. If consistency matters to you, say so in the brief and ask how it can be handled across dates.

Can the style stay consistent across locations?

Describe the look you want and share what worked before. Consistent outputs are agreed in writing, such as framing, editing style and file format.

What if a date in the series changes?

Tell us as soon as you know. Changes to dates are handled one by one under the terms in your quotation, so the rest of the series is not disturbed.

Send our recurring event brief

Send the list of dates and venues and what stays the same each time. We will tell you what we need and what we propose.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
